    AutoSSH File Transfer Progress/Status

    Zachary Denny · 0 · Posted

AutoTools SSH File Transfer - Is there any way to get some kind of Progress Bar or Status of the SFTP Transfer? If I'm transferring larger files via SFTP, I'd really like to know how things are going with it. Just something really basic would work.

Ability to lock screen and use fingerprint to unlock next time

Anton Beck · 4 · Last reply by Gerard Gil Bragais

On my Galaxy s7 you can lock the screen with tasker and with security settings but if you do it, the next time you want to unlock it, it isn't possible to unlock it with fingerprint. I know Nova lauchner has a way to do it.

Storing a history/log of Clipboards in Join.

    Andre Camenzind · 0 · Posted

    Nominally 10 deep.

When copying on multiple devices that have Join and having clipboard set to share, occasionally the clipboard on one device will be lost/overwritten unintentionally.

A history/log within Join, storing the Clipboard history from multiple devices solves that problem.

Allow 12 hour (AM/PM) clock in the date time picker

Currently it is forced to be 24 hour clock, which is confusing to those of us in the United States that aren't in the military :)

    Bluetooth Tethering Broken?

    Eric Marks · 0 · Posted

Turning Bluetooth tethering on or off on my OnePlus 8 Pro seems to be broken.

I get a "java.lang.RuntimeException:java.lang.InvocationTargetException" when I try to change the bluetooth tethering state.

If you can fix this, I'll turn my trial into a purchase!

Integration of Autotools and Sesame search.

    James Hughes · 0 · Posted

I am using two launchers on the z fold 3. Niagara launcher when the phone is folded and Nova launcher when the phone is unfolded. When I set the launcher default to Autotools I have a program called Sesame. This allows searches of files and applications and automatically creates shortcuts based on the applications it finds. Is it possible to integrate Autotools and Sesame. The API is available from Sesame. This would allow Autotools to be recognized by Sesame as a launcher, and integrate its search findings to the fullest extent.

    Thanks

I'd like to have an option to set the duration. The standard 10 seconds on my phone.

Allow users to create their own Java Functions to be used via Android JavaScript Interface

    Andrew · 0 · Posted

Similar to how in the current Tasker JavaScript(let) actions, there are built in functions (http://tasker.dinglisch.net/userguide/en/javascript.html)

This idea would basically expand on that and allow you to create your own built in functions that can better handle the Android side of things when writing JavaScript.

See original posting of the idea here on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/androidapps/comments/5ag991/request_tasker_plugin_to_add_custom_java/)

    Advanced TTS action

Richard Kemp · 1 · Last reply by Richard Kemp

Tasker's built-in TTS works fine for most purposes. However, several of it's parameters can only be set by checkboxes and spinners - there are situations in which it would be useful to set everything using variables. Things I personally would like to be able to control by variables: output audio stream and 'continue immediately' setting.

settings under "do not disturb" / "Allow exceptions" - Alarms, Repeat Callers, Event/task alerts, Reminders, Priority app notifications

    Brian · 0 · Posted

I have these settings on samsung phones running marshmallow and nougat. I am not sure if all of these settings exist on non-samsung phones. The ones I most want to control are the Event/task alerts, and the priority app notifications.

I have listed all the settings (system, global, secure), but did not see a change for these settings.

    PHP parser similar to javascriptlet

    adomm420 · 0 · Posted

This would be a great addition for someone who's very familiar with the PHP programming language and would save a lot of time, as well as would shrink down the tasker tasks for loops/cycles and many other thinks like date function, strtotime function and so on.

    Add NFC tag reading

Currently using NFC Tasks/Tools to trigger a Tasker task, would be nice to cut out the middle man. Just have a "NFC read" event profile and in the config allow the user to read a tag.

    "Suffix" action for AutoTools Text

Allow algorithmic darkening in web screens

Floris · 1 · Last reply by João Dias

I want to preface this request by saying that I've already found a workaround using the dark mode profile in Tasker, so the priority of this request is low. However, it would be a fun thing to have 🙂

In newer versions of web browsers, you can respond to the system's dark/light mode using a CSS media query. For example:

This currently isn't working in AutoTools Web Screens, it just always defaults to dark. To satisfy my curiousity I did some digging into how this work with Android Webviews, and found that how it handles dark mode is a bit
